Thumb Slider V1.0 (Requires compatible 4pin EvoX+ remote w/ code rev. 034)
Thumb Slider V1.0 (Requires compatible 4pin EvoX+ remote w/ code rev. 034)
This is the new thumb slider which will lead the way in innovation. This Slider style thumb remote has a centre detent. That means you can feel the center point of the slider. With that said, a evox+ hand remote version 031 and greater will have two new features: setpoint to enable non linear remapping OR min and max set points
First Feature is min and max set points. Example is mode is 30 amps for min and 300 amps for max. By enabling slider, then you may put the dial to max, hold top button down and select a max. For this example 200. Now max is 200 amps. Hold bottom button to set min point. For this example 100. Now your slider sweeps from 100 to 200.
First Feature Bonus: can pick a smaller number for max and larger number for min and it reverses your output should you switch hands.
2nd Feature Setpoint: determines where your centre detent alters the remapping to non-linear. will explain below. Not On V031 code, Setpoint only works if the First Feature is reset.
Non Linear remapping gives you two maps on your thumb slider. will explain below.
Let’s use examples to explain the above. The slider has 30 millimetres of travel, say one and a quarter inches. At the centre of the travel, there is a detent that you can feel.
The thumb slider will go from min to max. Let’s say you set your min is 30 amps and your max to 300 amps. Your thumb slider will default to 165 amps at the center.
If you set your setpoint, explained elsewhere to say for this example 100 amps., the first half of the slider will go from 30 to 100. The second half will go from 100 to 300. Gives you the opportunity to refine the fidelity of one half of the track.
